Title
The Titan’s Machine (Game)

Abstract
This is a single player shooter game set in futuristic medieval. The myth once says the titan build three machines to guard and rule the world before they depart from the world. The machines took all the resources from the world and leave the humans to suffer. Now, the world resources have been depleted and humans must take back from the titan’s machines.

Target Audience
Age 18 - 25

Goal
  1. The main goal of this application is to entertain the target audience in a form of shooter game. The goal of the game is to defeat the machines build by the titan and save the world. One must test his marksman skill in order to save the world.
  2. This application is focusing more on visualization. The style of this game is a fantasy world that resides in futuristic medieval. The visualization of the game is to show it through a VR application. It would allow the user to experience the innovative level design as well as the gameplay.
  3. This virtual application would allow the user to explore the fantasy environment. In addition, the user will able to experience how tiny he/she is when fighting with the machine. VR is certainly an advantage in generating various experiences for the user.
  4. There are multiple games with gameplay similar to this VR application. However, this VR application is special due to the creativity that is applied to the game. Thus, it could give the user an extraordinary experience of this VR application. This game is created not only for entertainment purpose but also to appreciate the work of a game developer.
Objectives
  • To immerse the user through realistic visuals and audio effects
  • To allow the user to enjoy the VR game application
  • To develop interest and appreciation of user on the VR game application
  • To allow the user to experience a different approach of visuals and gameplay for the game
  • To allow the user to experience different perspective of different scale compare to the machine.

Description
On the starting of the game application, there will be a brief introduction of the storyline. The user will start in a outdoor area and simple tutorials will be given to the user. For example, the user will be prompted by pop up icons indicate on walking, jumping and interact with the door. More tips will be shown as the user proceeds with the game.

Entering the Levels-
There will only be one level as the player will be guided to the individual machines. A cinematic will play when the player encounters the machine. The user will have to use any means necessary to defeat the machine. When all the machines are defeated, the game ends.

Interaction Description
  • User will be able to navigate the world through WASD Keys on the keyboard
  • User will be able to know their present location with the mini map in the game
  • User will be guided to each of the machines
  • User will be able to unlock achievements that present in the game
